My retro gaming console NES is finally working, but the sound is all distorted and crackly, making it hard to enjoy games like Mario. I have checked the cables and TV settings, but it is still bad. Is sound distortion a common problem with a retro gaming console NES, and how do I fix it? I am hoping it is not a permanent hardware issue.
