Does enabling VMD on Acer Predator void warranty?

I am considering enabling VMD on my Acer Predator laptop to improve RAID performance, but I am worried it might mess with my warranty. Has anyone done this and checked with Acer support? I don’t want to risk losing coverage over a tweak. Thoughts?
